KENS DETAILING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
WORK AREA 1.1
THE CLIENT MUST ENSURE PRIOR TO ARRIVAL OF KENS DETAILING THAT SUFFICIENT SPACE IS AVAILABLE FOR BOTH THE OPERATIVE VEHICLE AND THEIR OWN, ALONG WITH SUFFICIENT MOVEMENT AROUND THE VEHICLES. KENS DETAILING WILL NOT WORK ON ANY MAIN OR FREQUENTLY USED ROADS OR IN ANY MUDDY OR GRASSY AREAS. IF THIS IS NOT COMPLIED WITH ON ARRIVAL OF KENS DETAILING, THE OPERATIVE RESERVES THE RIGHT TO LEAVE AND CHARGE A CANCELLATION FEE FOR THE CANCELLED BOOKING.
THE CLIENT MUST ENSURE PRIOR TO ARRIVAL OF THE KENS DETAILING THAT THE LOCATION OF THE SERVICE AS DICTATED BY THE CLIENT IS SAFE, SECURE AND SUFFICIENT FOR KENS DETAILING TO CARRY OUT THE SERVICE AND FURTHER THAT THE LOCATION ALLOWS AND PERMITS SUCH ACTIVITY TO BE CARRIED OUT. ANY PARKING TICKETS OR FINES WILL BE FOWARDED TO THE CLIENT TO RESOLVE OR PAY.
CLEANING SURCHARGES 1.2
IF YOUR INTERIOR IS HEAVILY SOILED/COVERED WITH MUD, SAND, PET HAIR, MOULD, VOMIT OR BLOOD (ANY BODILY FLUIDS) ADDITIONAL CHARGES WILL APPLY.
WE ADVISE IF YOU HAVE ANY OF THE ABOVE TO SEND A FEW PICTURES BEFORE BOOKING SO THAT WE CAN PROVIDE A FAIR ESTIMATE. IF NOT, THE PRICE WILL BE NEGOTIATED ON THE DAY BEFORE ANY WORK COMMENCES.
THIS IS DUE TO ADDITIONAL TIME IT WILL TAKE AND THE USE OF DIFFERENT PRODUCTS WHICH WILL BE REQUIRED.
CANCELLATION - RESCHEDULING 1.3
KENS DETAILING WILL NOT NOT ACCEPT CANCELLATION WITHIN THE 24 HOURS PRIOR TO A BOOKING. CANCELLATION AND ALTERATIONS CAN BE MADE TO A BOOKING PROVIDING OVER 24 HOURS NOTICE IS GIVEN WITHOUT ANY CHARGE. THIS CHARGE IS 20% OF THE BOOKING AND WILL BE ADDED TO YOUR NEXT VISIT OR CAN BE PAID ON THE DAY OF THE CANCELLATION. LEGAL ACTION CAN BE TAKEN IF REFUSED.
KENS DETAILING RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CANCEL A BOOKING AT ANY TIME PRIOR TO BOOKING DUE TO NON-AVAILABILITY OF STAFF OR ADVERSE WEATHER. IF WE HAVE TO RESCHEDULE A BOOKING WE ARE HAPPY TO RESCHEDULE WITH PRIORITY WITHIN THE NEXT 14 DAYS TO YOUR NEXT AVAILABLE DATE. IF THIS IS NOT POSSIBLE IT IS THE CUSTOMERS CHOICE TO CANCEL OR TO RESCHEDULE TO A DATE BEYOND THE 14 DAYS.
PAYMENT 1.4
PAYMENTS MUST BE MADE VIA BANK TRANSFER OR CASH PAYMENT AT MOST 48 HOURS AFTER WORK HAS BEEN COMPLETED UNLESS PRIOR ARRANGEMENTS HAVE BEEN MADE. EVERY WEEK BELATED, 20% INTEREST IS INCURRED FOR COMPENSATION OF THE MATERIALS BOUGHT TO BE USED ON YOUR VEHICLE. IF NOT COMPLIED WITH, LEGAL ACTION CAN AND WILL BE MADE. ALL OUR SERVICES CAN BE TAX DEDUCTIBLE FOR BUSINESS USE AND DIGITAL INVOICES CAN BE PROVIDED ON HEADED PAPER.
HEADLIGHT RESTORATION 1.5
KENS DETAILING WILL AND CAN NOT TAKE ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR VEHICLE FAILING MOT EVEN AFTER A HEADLIGHT RESTORATION. SOME CAN BE DAMAGED PAST REPAIR AND OTHER FACTORS [EX BULBS] CAN PLAY A PART IN YOUR HEADLIGHTS EFFECTIVITY. WE WILL ALWAYS GIVE YOU A FAIR AND HONEST OPINION IF YOUR HEADLIGHTS ARE WORTH RESTORING ALTHOUGH WE ARE NOT MOT TESTERS AND CAN NOT GIVE PROFESSIONAL ADVICE.
MAINTENANCE CLUB 1.6
REMINDER MAINTENANCE CLUB IS NOT A COMPULSORY SERVICE ALTHOUGH FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN YOUR REMOVAL FROM THE CLUB.
(MONTHLY)- IF YOUR DATE IS SURPASSED BY LONGER THEN A WEEK, YOU WILL THEN FALL INTO THE BI-MONTHLY SERVICE, AFTER THAT YOU WILL THEN HAVE THE OPTION TO CARTRY ON MONTHLY MAINTENANCE AT THE ORIGINAL PRICE OR MOVE ONTO BI-MONTHLY FOR A SLIGHT INCREASE.
(BI-MONTHLY)- IF YOU SUPASS A WEEK AFTER YOUR BI-MONTHLY MAINTENANCE DATE YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO GET A FULL DEEP CLEAN TO CATCH UP TO MAINTENANCE CLUB STANDARDS. IF YOU DO NOT WISH FOR THIS THEN UNFORTUNATELY YOU WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE MAINTENANCE CLUB LIST AND PRIVILEGES WILL BE REVOKED.
IN ORDER TO GIVE YOU THE MOST CONVENIENT AND EFFECTIVE 'DEEP CLEAN FEELING' EVERY MONTH PLEASE MAKE SURE ANY PERSONAL BELONGINGS ARE SECURED AND PUT AWAY ASWELL AS ANY RUBBISH COLLECTED AND DISPOSED OFF, SO WE CAN DEDICATE OUR TIME TO CLEANING YOUR VEHICLE. PLEASE BE CONSIDERATE OF HOW MUCH DIRT YOU BRING INTO THE CAR AS IN RARE CASES [1.2] CAN STILL APPLY DUE TO THE EXTRA TIME NEEDED ON YOUR VEHICLE, WHICH IN RARE CASE MEANS WE HAVE TO CANCLE OTHER BOOKINGS LATER THAT DAY.
REFUNDS 1.7
WE DO NOT OFFER REFUNDS OR BELATED PAY OUTS, AS UPON COMPLETION OF THE SERVICE THE CLIENT WILL BE ASKED TO INSPECT THE VEHICLE AND CONFIRM THAT THE SERVICE HAS BEEN COMPLETED TO THE SPECIFICATION AS EXPLAINED BY KENS DETAILING. SHOULD THE CLIENT BE UNSATISFIED WITH COMPLETION OF THE SERVICE, THE CLIENT IS REQUIRED TO DETAIL THE POINTS TO THE OPERATIVE AND ALLOW THE OPERATIVE TO RECTIFY THE POINTS TO THE SERVICE DESCRIPTION. ONCE AGAIN UPON COMPLETION OF THE SERVICE THE CLIENT WILL BE ASKED TO INSPECT THE VEHICLE AND CONFIRM THAT NO DAMAGE HAS OCCURRED DURING THE OPERATION OF KENS DETAILING SERVICE BEFORE THE OPERATIVE LEAVES THE PREMISES.
UPON BOOKING YOU ARE AGREEING TO THE ABOVE TERMS AND CONDITIONS WHICH HAVE BEEN UPDATED AND REVIEWED AS OF 16/01/2025.
